Jason Goodrick is a native Clevelander and a current resident of the historic Hough neighborhood. His passion is helping to make a positive impact on the lives of others and in organizations. For nearly twenty years he has had the privilege of influencing positive changes in high stress, high performance, private and public organizations. He believes an organization's or community's potential resides within in its people. He takes pride in using the latest positive organizational design methods to disrupt the comfort zone, unify teams, build psychological capital and empower individuals to overcome complex problems.
He began his career in public safety in 1998 as an Emergency Medical Technician with a small volunteer fire department and progressed quickly to a full-time firefighter while moonlighting as a police officer. After 9/11/2001, he shifted his focus to homeland security. In 2009 he became the first Director for Emergency Management at Case Western Reserve University. While at CWRU Jason finished his bachelor’s degree in public administration from Cleveland State University and his Master’s of Science in Positive Organizational Development and Change from the Weatherhead School of Management. Beyond his career, Jason is struggling to master parenthood and has surrendered to his caffeine addiction. He also enjoys a good laugh and riding his motorcycle. Want to learn more about Jason?
